Following is a wonderful breakfast as we enjoy time with one another.

The next service is at 10:30 a.m. where we share in the hope that comes with knowing how much God loves us.th-6

Christmas Eve Lovefeast and Candlelight Service

Join us December 24 at 7:30 p.m. as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.

The lovefeast is modeled after the early church’s agape meals.  The Moravian tradition is of sharing a small meal (juice and a bun) with singing, music and fellowship.  It signifies our union and equality along with being an expression of God’s grace and love

The lighting of candles is rich with symbolism and dates back to 1747.  The bees wax is a sign of purity, the light reminds us that the light is in the world.  There is a red taper at the bottom of the candle, it’s purpose is not solely to catch the wax but reminds us of the blood that Christ shed for us all

Vacation Bible School: Splash in God’s World

Dear Parents,

Vacation Bible School at Church of the Redeemer is now taking registration for VBS 2012. This is a chance for children to have a positive social experience and learn about the teachings of Jesus in the house of God.
